Corsham Means Business Show 2016
ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND INSPIRATION…
The Corsham Means Business Show is back. This year’s show – on Wednesday 16 March, from 10am-4pm, in the stunning surroundings of Hartham Park – promises to build on the great success of the inaugural event in 2015. Organised by Corsham Chamber of Commerce, the Show’s main sponsors include The Martingate Centre in Corsham, Goughs Solicitors and Corsham Town Council.
The Show’s aim is to highlight to local businesses – big, small and start-up – and to visitors the opportunities available on their doorstep, with the chance to network and share experiences. There will also be plenty of advice, guidance and inspiration on hand throughout the day with a full schedule of speakers, including renowned Sales Coach Alison Edgar, who’ll be explaining how you can go from Zero to Sales Hero, and DI Gavin Webb from the Regional Cyber Crime Unit of Zephyr, the Regional Organised Crime Unit, who will be explaining how the Unit specialises in identifying those engaged in large-scale computer and network crime.
On a more local level, four business owners will explain why Corsham is a great place to grow a business. Stuart Pearce of SMARTech Energy; Helen Way of arts and crafts store All the Pretty Things; Vincent O’Brien, MD of Octavian, the world’s leading fine wine storage specialist, and Debbie Still from the award-winning Methuen Arms will talk about why they enjoy doing business in Corsham and their aspirations for the next five years.
The day will end, at 3pm, with an hour-long Q&A session chaired by Martin Head of Corsham TV and featuring, among others, entrepreneur Jeff Thomas, Director of Corsham Institute, and David Lynam MBE, Director Service Development, MOD Corsham.
Corsham Means Business 2016 is free to attend for all visitors who register in advance via the website, and exhibition stands are now on sale, with manned and unmanned options available. All the details can be found at www.corshammeansbusiness.co.uk
